Via Ferrata degli Angeli

The Via Ferrata degli Angeli is an amazing equipped hiking trail (EEA) that allows you to reach the high crests of the island of Tavolara by going up the southern rocky slope. Given its spectacular location, this Via Ferrata is certainly a must for those who love the island and want to fully understand its grandeur and majesty ...

The start of the Ferrata is not very far from Punta della Mandria, from here a trail quickly reaches the ridges that rise in front of us and reach the top of the island. The strong verticality of the passages is immediately striking, which immediately put to the test because they are exposed and airy; these lead us to Punta della Scala and will end at the Christ...

We are etween the blue of the sea and the blue of the sky, the steel cable runs along the rugged ridges reaching a first wonderful panoramic point where a Madonna keeps company with her angels. From here a last vertical effort leads towards the Christ who dominates the rocky ridges and Molara.

Once we have reached the Christ, we just have to go up the limestone peaks that dominate the island. At this point we have two options: quickly descend the cliffs so as to finish our excursion in half a day, or continue walking up to Punta Lucca and Punta Cannone and then intercept the normal via ferrata route that of the Earth Spreader.
